For the last 4 years I’ve been exploring the Future of Work (FOW) as well as helping individuals navigate change.
Organizations are making progress when it comes to implement new processes of working that enable innovation and change. However when it comes to help people to adopt a new way of working that, usually, requires more collaboration and therefore to bring their whole-self to work, leaders aren't paying much attention. The result is usually people unhappy, less productivity and frustrated leaders because regardless of all the effort and resources invested there is not sustainable change.
A culture of change and innovation requires new rules, rituals and to take care of individuals in a more holistic way. Unfortunately most of organization still follow "old rules books" when ti comes to teams and culture. If we want drive transformation need to put more attention in understanding the needs of those making innovation happen and helping them during the way in a personal and professional level
